Some schools sponsor an auto show featuring student vehicles, program rebuilds, and local collector vehicles as a fundraiser for the program. Students often take the lead in organizing and publicizing the event. You can have a booth to promote your business as well as automotive careers and hire a student to work in the booth. You can also encourage other business owners you know to sponsor a booth and provide door-prizes or silent auction items. You can involve students from the school’s marketing department as well – these are more possible future hires.
The event can be held at the school, your business (if you have enough parking), or at a local office park.
